After possibly their best game of the season, the Rangers' revolving door lineup will have a few more swings. Pavel Buchnevich and Adam Fox are on the COVID list, joining Phil Di Giuseppe, who went on the list Sunday. Replacing Buch and PDG in the lineup will be Brett Howden and Julien Gauthier, healthy scratches Saturday. Buch sitting leaves a hole on the first list, which Gauthier could fill of Alexis Lafreniere could move up and over to the right side. Fox sitting takes away the team's best blueliner. He will be replaced by Tarmo Reunanen, one of the Blueshirts' raft of d-man prospects, who had been been playing at Hartford.

New York came into the game looking to build off their solid victory Saturday. The question we all had originally was if that performance was another one-time aberration or could the team build off what we saw. New York canceled practice this am, which was an indication something else was up. The question as to why the game is not being canceled is up to your own debate, though that might have been a consideration. The task just got a bit harder due to the absence of Buch, but especially Fox, whose absence has trickle down impacts on who pairs with Ryan Lindgren and handles the power play.

Keith Kinkaid aims to repeat his solid effort between the pipes versus the Bruins. Igor Shesterkin was moved to IR in a procedural move but could be back at any time. No date for that return has been provided, so another good performance could allow Kinkaid to start Wednesday against the Flyers again.

We can go with IBM presents you decide the lines, offensive and defense. The blender may be out again, BUT I could see stacking the top-two lines with the bottom-six a miss mash. Brendan Smith can play both sides, so look for him to be on the right side of a pairing. Jack Johnson is out as is Anthony Bitetto, so K'Andre Miller or Reunanen will need to play their off-side.

it's clearly never dull in Rangers land.
