Coyotes Young Players Look Good in Pre Season + They Won!!

The Coyotes beat the Ducks in a shootout, but nobody cares about the results of a preseason game.

The fact is, there just isn't much news out of the Coyotes training camp. From all reports, Clayton Keller is having a great pre-season, and I hope so cause they're paying him like a franchise player.

The Coyotes played him 23 minutes in yesterday's game and he scored a pretty nice goal, so that's something

Hayton got 18 minutes and was a 68% player, but while that's good, you never really know what kind of competition players are seeing in the preseason. Based on the non-goal stats of the game, it looks like the Coyotes crushed the Ducks, so perhaps it wasn't a situation where each team had lineup that was roughly the same, which means we don't want to make too much of the results.

Hayton had no points but did get off three shots. I highly doubt we'll see him on the top line to start the season along with Stepan and Keller, but I'd be OK if we did.

NIck Schmaltz played with Garland and Dvorak, and that's also a pretty cool line. Garland scored, and I really hope he is on the final roster because he has more offensive talent than almost anyone in the organization.

This game did not feature Phil Kessel, so it will be interesting to see where he lines up once the season starts.

While I like both lines the Coyotes used, by greatest concern is that they don't have one first line that is good enough to avoid getting crushed by 98% of the rest of the NHL's first lines.

The Coyotes should be desperate to add another elite player. (all stats natural stat trick dot com).

But, so far so good. I am sure some cuts might go down today or tomorrow, so who knows, perhaps we'll get something interesting to write about one of these days ! hahahahah

Also, the movie Dunkirk was pretty damn awesome. That's all I got. Have a great day.
