The NHLPA has voted, by an over 80% margin, to ratify the current proposal for the NHL’s collective-bargaining agreement. Along with this they voted to accept the “return to play” concept in full. This is a really great day for hockey as this guarantees six years of stability at a time when stability is definitely lacking in the sports world.

Flames defenseman Travis Hamonic has exercised his right to opt-out, citing the health of his young daughter and Vancouver Canucks winger Sven Baertschi has opted out as well.

The Caps Hagelin let it be known he will be leaving the bubble at some point to witness the birth of his child and returning to the bubble should he pass two tests for the coronavirus....And should the Caps still be playing.

Meanwhile, Steven Stamkos has reportedly suffered a lower body injury, and may be questionable for the early parts of the tournament... however, it is expected that he will be fine by the qualifiers.

AND... we have a schedule which I will be posting soon!

I will be updating this blog today with interesting new details as well. The CBA has a few surprises...
