I will be adding to this blog in a bit, but this morning there is a lot of talk of Seattle Kraken defenseman Mark Giordano being the first player to be moved in the coming trade season.

The New York Rangers are out front on this one, and that is pretty clear. But Calgary Flames head coach Darryl Sutter is supposedly pushing Flames management to get Gio back in Calgary.

The pricetag on the Canadiens' Ben Chiarot is "way too high" right now, and this is also helping to fuel the Giordano talk.
