Quick hit for this morning and in way, following up on the Taylor Hall story from yesterday...The Flames are going to go all-in on Hall, and that could put them in a serious money pinch...While Gaudreau has loved Calgary, it is also widely known that he wouldn't be opposed to returning back east...Gaudreau grew up in South Jersey, a Flyers fan, but the Devils are in a better position following this past deadline with cap space, picks and prospects.
They could give Calgary futures, where the Flyers would have to make the Flames take back money. The Devils have a slew of strong picks, including the pick they got for Taylor Hall.
This would be a draft-day deal I believe....
Lindy Ruff and the Devils?
The Devils have interviewed some strong coach candidates...Laviolette most recently..they have also interviewed Lindy Ruff....doubtful he gets this, but anything is possible.
