Wild goaltender Alex Stalock backstopped Team Bic to the Da Beauty League Championship, winning the John Scott Cup with a 3-1 victory over Team Velocity last night in Edina.

Brock Boeser who led the Da Beauty League in scoring, appropriately scored the game winning goal and set up the insurance marker to cap off his amazing Summer, capturing League MVP honors. Boeser finished with 16 goals and 18 assists in 9 games.

Fellow Bic teammate Brock Nelson also potted 16 goals and added 11 assists finishing second in league scoring.

The third season of the Da Beauty League is now in the books, and what a season it was. The popularity of the Summer league is growing with each season and the amount of pro players keeps rising in the process.

Last night's game was more like a regular NHL game with players from both side playing much more responsibly in their own end and puck protection. But the Da Beauty League is all about the flash and flare of these tremendously skilled players, doing what they do best but in a more relaxed open ice atmosphere.

Olly and Jacob from On the Bench fame were in the house for both the playoff games on Monday and the Championship last night. These guys have created quite the social media buzz with their teaching of the fundies of the game, so what better place for them than Braemar Arena for the most fun Summer hockey league.

The popularity of the Da Beauty League continues to grow and the years to come should bring a whole lot more of the excitement and entertaining hockey to the State of Hockey. I highly recommend that everyone make it a point to witness Da Beauty in person, you will not be disappointed.
