Does Rough Weekend Create a Stir From Fenton?

A disappointing weekend for the Wild, with the late 3rd period loss to Buffalo Saturday night, followed by their 3-1 defeat last night. That makes three losses in the last four with two of thos coming on home ice.

The luster of the five and two, seven game road trip has officially worn off.

Yes, there were a lot of positives in the weekend games as the Wild had numerous chances in both contests, yet were unable to solve Linus Ulmark first on Saturday, and Corey Crawford last night.

With the Wild having a good start to the season deficiencies can easily be overlooked. That said the Wild are still not good enough to do much damage when the games mean the most.

Is it time that Paul Fenton makes his mark on the Wild?

If so is he bold enough to make a deal for William Nylander, as the clock is ticking ever so close to December 1 deadline.

How about William's brother, Alexander?

William, would require the deal include Matt Dumba of course.

I do believe the Wild need to move in a direction that makes them a more competitive team with the upper echelon of the league.

The balances scoring never really works for extended periods as the dry spells become an issue.

Top tier scoring talent is tough to come by and the Wild have lacked that for far too long.

It is time, will it happen?
