Quick Hits: September 26, 2021

1) On Sunday, the Flyers will have a special teams centered practice. At 11 a.m. ET, they will hold a 45-minute scrimmage. On the team's official website, there are day-by-day reports from training camp session notes, quotes from players and Alain Vigneault, video clips and more.

* Day 1 Report (Sept. 23).
* Day 2 Report (Sept. 24).
* Day 3 Report (Sept. 25).

2) On Saturday, the Flyers had two more injuries in camp. Tanner Laczynski did not practice in the morning session due to a left hip issue. Back in April, he had surgery to repair a torn labrum in his right hip. On Sept. 17, he was cleared to play. During the afternoon session, defenseman Linus Högberg left the ice due to an oblique muscle injury. He underwent an MRI later in the day.

Vigneault said that he would have updates on the two players on Sunday. The Flyers injury list is now as follows:

* Kevin Hayes (abdominal surgery, out 6-to-8 weeks from Sept. 21).
* Samuel Morin (knee surgery, out 6-to-8 weeks from Sept. 10).
* Wade Allison (right high ankle sprain, out indefinitely)
* Zayde Wisdom (shoulder surgery in August, out indefinitely)
* Cooper Zech (upper body, out 6-to-8 weeks)
* Ryan Fitzgerald (lower-body injury on Sept. 24)
* Tanner Laczynski (left hip issue on Sept 25, status TBD)
* Linus Högberg (oblique muscle injury Sept. 25, status TBD)

3) The Flyers Warriors held a press conference at the Flyers Training Center on Saturday to announce the 2021 USA Hockey Warrior Classic at the FTC in Voorhees and the Hollydell Ice Arena in Sewell on Nov. 5 to 7. As part of the press conference, Toyota presented a $35,000 check to the Flyers Warriors program.


4) Every Child Deserves a Bike: The Flyers Alumni Association will present a fully customized adaptive bike on Monday tp Amir Epperson of Brookhaven, PA. Amir's bike is the fourth one the Flyers Alumni have had built for donation to a special needs child in the Delaware Valley. The "Every Child Deserves a Bike" program is funded through the support of Flyers fans. To learn more, click here.
