Game 45 Preview: Flyers vs. Jets

In their final game before the NHL All-Star Break, interim head coach Mike Yeo's Philadelphia Flyers (14-22-8) are home to host interim head coach Dave Lowry's Winnipeg Jets (18-16-7) on Tuesday evening. Game time at the Wells Fargo Center is 7:00 p.m. ET (NBCSP, 97.5 The Fanatic).

This is the first of two meetings this season between the clubs. The teams will rematch at the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg on April 27.

The Flyers enter this game coming off a 4-3 overtime win at home against the LA Kings on Saturday afternoon. The victory ended a 13-game winless drought (0-10-3) for the Flyers. The Jets enter the game coming off a 4-1 win on Saturday against the St. Louis Blues. Before that, Winnipeg was winless in six games (0-4-2).

The expected goaltending matchup for this game will pit Carter Hart (8-14-5, 2.87 GAA, .913 SV%) against Connor Helleybuyck (14-14-6, 2.93 GAA, .908 SV%). The Flyers are likely to start the same lineup as in Saturday's game against LA. For Winnipeg, defenseman Josh Morrissey is now out of COVID-19 protocol and is slated to return to game action.
