GAME 25: FLYERS @ BLUE JACKETS

Beginning a 3-in-4 Thanksgiving holiday gauntlet, Alain Vigneault's Philadelphia Flyers (12-7-5)
are in Ohio on Wednesday to take on John Tortorella's Columbus Blue Jackets (10-9-4). Game time at Nationwide Arena is 7:00 p.m. ET.

The game will be televised on NBCSP+. The radio broadcast will be on 97.5 The Fanatic with an online simulcast on Flyers Radio 24/7.

This is the second of four meeting of the season series between the teams, and the first of two in Columbus. The teams will rematch in a home-and-home on Feb. 18 in Philly and two nights later back in Columbus. On Oct. 26 at the Wells Fargo Center, Philly trailed 4-2 midway through the third period and then put on a 5-goal blitz to skate off with a 7-4 victory.

FLYERS OUTLOOK

The Flyers are 2-0-1 in their last three games with points in eight of the last 10 (5-2-3). They are coming off a 2-1 home win over Vancouver on Monday in which Philly dominated the final 40 minutes. Sean Couturier and Jakub Voracek each had a goal and an assist.

Brian Elliott will get the start in goal in Columbus. The rest of the lineup will remain the same, including Shayne Gostisbehere remaining a healthy scratch for the third straight game.

Entering Wednesday, the Flyers have averaged 2.88 goals per game with allowing 2.79 per game. The power play is at 19.8 percent and the penalty kill at 85.7 percent with two shorthanded goals. The team has won faceoffs at a 54.0 percent clip.

BLUE JACKETS OUTLOOK

Columbus is 5-4-1 over its last 10 games and 7-5-1 on home ice this season. On Monday, the Blue Jackets nipped Ottawa, 1-0. Oliver Björkstrand broke a scoreless tie 21 seconds into the third period. Joonas Korpisalo recorded a 25-save shutout.

On the injury front, Brandon Dubinsky (wrist), 65 Markus Nutivaara (lower body) and Kole Sherwood (oblique tear) are on IR.

Entering this game, the Blue Jackets have averaged 2.57 goals per game and allowed 3.13 per game. The power play comes in at 19.5 percent and the penalty kill at 80.3 percent. The Blue Jackets have won 48.7 percent of their faceoffs.
