The Los Angeles Kings are reportedly parting ways with assistant general manager Mike Futa and will not renew his contract, according to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman.

Futa has been with the organization for 13 years, since he took on the position of director of amateur scouting in 2007. According to Friedman, Mark Yannetti, who is the Kings’ current director of amateur scouting, will be tasked with running the draft instead.
