The Los Angeles Kings have reportedly signed general manager Rob Blake to a three-year contract extension, according to TSN’s Pierre LeBrun.

Blake joined the organization's front office as an assistant general manager in 2013 and became the Kings’ general manager in 2017.

He has overseen the Kings’ rebuild and while there’s still a ways to go until the team is a legitimate contender, the plan is already seeing results, with Los Angeles reaching the playoffs this year for the first time since 2018. With another important offseason ahead of him, it’ll be interesting to see how Blake continues to improve the team.
