The Anaheim Ducks have reportedly signed forward Frank Vatrano to a three-year contract, which carries a $3.65 million cap hit.

Vatrano is 28 years old and split this past season between the Florida Panthers and New York Rangers. In 71 total games, the winger scored 18 goals and 32 points, a pace of 21 goals and 37 points per 82 games.

While Vatrano may not play overly high in the lineup, he can score goals at a pretty strong rate. He plays with a lot of intensity, has good speed and is relatively strong defensively.

I’ll have a more in-depth article on the signing out in the near future.
