Defenseman Adam Pelech will be representing the New York Islanders and Metropolitan Division at the NHL All-Star Game, the NHL announced Thursday.

Pelech has played in 25 games with the Islanders this year, registering six assists. This will be his first All-Star Game appearance. Mathew Barzal is also eligible to be voted in as one of the Last Men In.

In other news, forward Ross Johnston was suspended for three games, following a hit on A.J. Greer in New York’s game against the New Jersey Devils on Thursday. This marks Johnston’s first suspension.
