In case you forgot, hockey is going to Olympics.. without NHL but countries keep announcing their rosters.

In today's edition of roster announcements, we have a team that might have the most gain without NHL being there to ruin their day once again.. Team Slovakia. These guys have the most experience in the field of European hockey. While always being cut short of NHL talent, they always seem to keep their head above the water in international tournaments.

Apparently, Slovakia has no clue that KHL is going as they have invited exactly zero players to Pyongyang despite the fact that they have a team representing their country in the arguably 2nd best league in the world of hockey. Looks like Miroslav Satan had other ideas.

Roster:

Goalies:
Ján Laco, Branislav Konrád, Patrik Rybár.

Defensemen:
Ivan Baranka, Michal Čajkovský, Dominik Graňák, Marek Ďaloga, Tomáš Starosta , Juraj Valach, Peter Čerešňák, Juraj Mikuš.

Forwards:
Martin Bakoš, Miloš Bubela, Marcel Haščák, Lukáš Cingel, Tomáš Marcinko, Patrik Lamper, Ladislav Nagy, Tomáš Surový, Andrej Kudrna, Peter Ölvecký, Michal Krištof, Matej Paulovič, Matúš Sukeľ, Marek Hovorka.

If things do indeed go South for Satan, he has a list of reserve players including Andrei Meszaros, Julius Hudacek and Pavol Skalický amongst others.
