A game between KHL's Omsk ''Avangard'' and ''Barys'' Astana - two rival teams in the eastern conference showed what a real rivalry is.

Shortly before the end of the first period, hockey players began expressing what they really disliked about each other. A small scuffle started and a fought broke out. As a result, the forward of the host ''Barys'' team Pavel Akolzin knocked out guest ''Avangard's'' Kirill Petrov with a single blow.

In the end, both players were awarded a major penalty as both left for the locker rooms. Petrov had to be accompanied by his team doctors.
