We got some UFA news this morning− Jordan Eberle will be back with the New York Islanders. The winger signed a five-year deal worth $5.5M per year.

The deal keeps the money value low and the term short enough as well, considering Eberle is already 29 years old. This was an excellent move to capitalize on Eberle's down year. Especially after his playoff performance, which saw him score four goals and nine points in eight games, there's no reason he shouldn't bounce back to be a 50-60 point scorer again next season.

A full analysis of the deal will come later today.
