Start here today.

The Cup has been handed out and The Blues and people of St Louis deserve all the fun that
follows...and I would love to talk more about that, but the NHL Schedule has truly been
compressed by the Cup not being handed out until June 12th and the NHL Draft, one of the
busiest trade days of the season is only EIGHT days away.

So we need to get right to this offseason....

I will be switching to multiple shorter blogs throughout the day, posting the minute I get any info on updating the Rumor Chart in between blogs.

Let's get right to it...

Nylander and Marleau could be a package to the Kings...
Just added this after talking to a source...will update

On Kessel

The Penguins have come out and said they expect Phil Kessel will be staying put, and while
Rutherford is definitely a man of his word, the other GMs and several hockey insiders I talked to
during the Cup Final Series aren't buying it. The overwhelming belief is the Penguins and
Kessel will find a solid fit and Kessel will be moved on to a better situation for him and the
Penguins...

On Hayes...

There are many out there now saying that Philly is NOT Hayes first choice, and while I do know
there is some posturing for sure, I can't help but think that Vigneault did his research on this,
because there is NO question that Vigneault hand-picked Hayes and Fletcher is trying to make
this happen... If it doesn't happen the Flyers made a mistake not researching this more...

On Gostisbehere for Kadri...

It is probably entirely connected to the uncertainty of the Hayes situation that this rumor is
gaining some steam. Kadri fits a need for the Flyers by giving them a second center with grit.
The Flyers were one of the least penalized teams and too easy to play against on many nights…

Much more to come!
