On Kessel...
The Sharks have talked to the Penguins about Kessel...San Jose is expected to be a very interesting team to watch this July 1. I am also hearing the Wild are still very much interested in Kessel and there is some small chance that Phil could end up Ok'ing a deal to Minnesota.
On Marleau...
Patrick wants to be back on the west coast, but could San Jose be an option? I am told it could be, but only if Toronto were to eat a lot of salary in the deal. The Kings are a possibility, but that option looks to be fading, with one source telling me it "would have happened by now if it was going to happen with LA."
The Canucks also do appear to be an option and I wouldn't be shocked if Arizona were to explore the options with Patrick Marleau...
On Chara...Grzelcyk
It has been confirmed that Chara has a broken jaw and it is likely that Chara will miss the rest of the series...But this is Chara, so who knows..... as for Grzelcyk..there is strong speculation that he will return for Game 5...
