Rumors to come, but this morning we have some coaching news...

The Senators hired the HIGHLY sought after DJ Smith to be their new head coach...A brilliant move that ends speculation that Patrick Roy could be taking over....Smith is way overdue a head coaching spot.


Meanwhile, Dave Tippett is, per Bob MacKenzie, looking very much like Holland's first choice in Edmonton if a contract can be reached....Smith was also considered for the Oilers job at one point...
