The NHL Playoffs are a constant shift in momentum vs desperation...Especially in the first round. For teams who have made the playoffs year in and year out, the playoffs often become about surviving the first round of the playoffs and that is why we see alot of first-round series go the distance.
Last night that desperation was on display for San Jose and tonight in Dallas I fully expect the Predators will be tough to take down...meanwhile, in Carolina, the Canes have shown an uncanny ability to dominate this season...
Both of these series are going 7 games...What do you think?
