Mikael Granlund picked a fine time to net his first playoff goal as a Predator, scoring the game winner with just over eight minutes to play in game three. The goal was enough to give Nashville the victory in a game that they were severely outplayed over the final two and a half periods.

Charlie Coyle scored in his second straight game, while his Bruins were unable to get the win in Toronto and now trail the series two games to one.

Nino Niederreiter has still not found the back of the net in the playoffs, however his Hurricanes squad delivered quite the impressive 5-0 shutout victory over the defending Cup Champion Capitals to draw the series back to 2 to 1 in favor of Washington.

It does not replace seeing the Wild in the playoffs by any stretch and for most there is no silver lining.

That said the Stanley Cup playoffs are the absolute best and seeing what unfolds each and every night is nothing short of amazing. One can only get lucky to predict what will happen on any given night.

Here's rooting for our former Wild players to continue to do well and hope that the Wild brass continues to work tirelessly to build a winner so that future Springs will be filled with Wild excitement on the ice.
