KHL has named their best players for 23rd - 2nd last week of the regular season.

The best goalie was Vasily Koshechkin (Metallurg), who won two games last week, including one shutout in the road game against Neftekhimik, allowing only one goal in total. Koshechkin posted a saves percentage of 98.33% and a goals-against average of 0.50 (both figures are the best numbers in the last week). Koshechkin’s shutout streak is still alive and is now at 98 minutes and 10 seconds.

The best defenseman was Jan Kolar (Amur), who won three games with his team last week, scoring 4 (1+3) points with a plus-2 rating. The Czech defenseman scored points in all the week’s games, including the game-winning goal against Avangard. Kolar also posted seven shots on goal and six hits.

The best forward was Kirill Kaprizov (CSKA), who won three games of three with his team, scoring five goals (best result of the week) and three assists. The Red Army forward scored points in all the week’s games, posted no negative ratings, and ended the week plus-5. He posted a double in the road game against Ak Bars and a hat-trick in the away match in Bratislava. Kaprizov now leads the League in goals scored.

The best rookie was forward Rafael Bikmullin (Neftekhimik), who won two games of three last week with his team, scoring 2 (1+1) points. The 21-years-old forward posted no negative ratings, ended the week plus-2, had seven shots on goal, recorded five hits, and logged an average time on ice of 16 minutes and 51 seconds.
