I am hearing that interest in Bobrovsky has picked up a lot over the last few days...the bottom line here appears to be the fact that there are only a few teams who see themselves as legit contenders and two of them out west see goaltending as their Achilles heal.
Currently we know the Panthers have had serious talks about both Bob and Panarin for the long haul...Florida is still the favorite for this coming summer...but for this playoff run, Bob may actually find a new/temporary home.
I am hearing a lot of rumblings today out of Calgary and San Jose...Both teams are contenders but both are facing issues in goal. Not huge issues, but big enough that neither can seriously consider passing Nashville, Winnipeg, or Vegas in a playoff situation.
Jimmy Howard could also be an option in Calgary, but both teams are more interested in Bob I am told...
Simmonds and Tampa?
The Lightning are in Philly for a game tonight and you can be sure they will be very aware of Wayne Simmonds...Currently I would put Tampa as the favorite for Simmonds IF the Flyers do indeed decide to move him....
