You gotta love the Canadian Junior Leagues and trades. I am working on the my rumor blog, but this just went down and does involve top prospects from Montreal and Toronto...

Per the Guelph Storm website...

GUELPH – Guelph Storm General Manager and Head Coach, George Burnett, has announced that the Storm have acquired forwards Nick Suzuki and Zachary Roberts, and defenseman Sean Durzi from the Owen Sound Attack in exchange for forwards Zachary Poirier and Barret Kirwin, defenseman Mark Woolley, and the following picks: 4th round pick in 2019 (GUE), 3rd round pick in 2021 (GUE), 2nd round pick in 2022 (GUE), 3rd round pick in 2022 (GUE) – conditional

Oh how I would love to be a rumor guy covering the Canadian Junior Leagues...Every year, trades like this one happen as teams who have a shot at the Memorial Cup gear up and simply go for it...it is all about taking the shot...

The big players in this trade of course is Nick Suzuki, whose NHL rights were traded in the pre-season from Vegas to Montreal...a coup for the Habs in my opinion...and d-man Sean Durzi, who was taken in the second round by the Leafs in 2018...

NHL Rumor Blog to Come...along with the results from yesterday's Mark Stone sweeps.
