The
THE 2018-19 Trade RUMOR CHART Is LIVE and today I have already updated a dozen players.
There is talk tonight that Drew Doughty may indeed be available and there are no shortage of teams who would line up for the opportunity...
Three different sources over the last 24 hours have told me to keep a close eye on Doughty and Quick...but especially Doughty, who is a huge contract of course...."But some players are worth the number...and Drew Doughty is one of the few players who teams won't be scared of."
The three main teams I have heard so far are interesting:
#1. The NY Islanders.
The Isles have some big players who are up for contracts...mostly forwards...One or more would have to go to get Doughty, but make no mistake about it...Lou Lamoriello builds champions around star D-men and he won't hesitate to make a bold move to land Doughty...
#2. Detroit Red Wings.
The Wings have always loved Doughty and he would be the perfect player to show the young d-corps how it is done.
#3. Toronto.
The Leafs are going to need to get a stud D -man if they are going to keep pace with the Lightning...
As for Jonathan Quick....
I keep hearing the Flyers are VERY interested and I could see this deal happening sooner than later...
