The New York Islanders.

I predicted they would be bad this season. Though they're off to a great start (record wise), I haven't seen anything that would lead me to change my opinion.

The Isles are getting outshot and out-chanced by significant margins on a nightly basis. They're winning because Thomas Greiss and Robin Lehner are providing John Gibson caliber goaltending at one end and the team is shooting lights out at the other.

When their percentages come back down to earth, they're going to lose a ton of games unless they start controlling a much larger share of the shots and chances. Given the personnel they have, I wouldn't bet on that happening.

The bottom is going to fall out sooner than later.

There is only one answer to this question: The New York Islanders. Oh my god, are they horrible. And yet, they keep winning. As we know, any goalie can go on a heater, and when that happens while goals are going in, teams win games.

The Islanders are a joke. The Leafs used Lamoriello, but they didn't actually let him be in charge of anything - and as soon as he had free reign it was clear just how out of touch he is with today's NHL.

He signed a bunch of grinders to ridiculous term and money and made what was already a bad team worse. You can fully ignore the early season results - this team sucks and they suck bad.

The coach is overrated, as any Caps fans can attest to. The GM is an outdated fossil who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near an NHL team and the roster is a joke.

How many fourth lines does a team need?

The Islanders are last in the NHL with a preposterous 42% CF, They allow 33 shots per 60 and get only 24. They have the highest PDO in the NHL. It is BRUTAL to watch them. They are by far the worst team in the NHL.

And they keep winning! It won't last. Expect the Islanders to finish 31st.
