Coyotes Re-Unite Top Line in Hopes for 1st 5v5 Goal

The Arizona Coyotes are finally getting their lines together.

For the first time this season, it appears that Dylan Strome has earned enough trust that Rick Tocchet can move him from the bottom of the lineup and put Clayton Keller back on the wing.

Even though Christian Dvorak is still not back, the Coyotes have elected to put Kellar back on the wing, and bring back the line that was so dominant late last season after Panik was acquired from the Coyotes farm team (AKA the Chicago Blackhawks).

This means a promotion for Dylan Strome who scored the last goal of last season and the first one of this season , and who looked like an absolute stud last game against the Ducks.

Unfortunately, with Galchenyuk still out, and with Tocchet apparently always intent on putting someone stupid on the fourth line, it appears that Strome will skate with Crouse and Fischer.

Personally, I'd rather see him with Perlini and Hinostroza, of failing that, even Grabner, but uh, you know, they still don't let me make the lines.

Tonight's game will feature the Buffalos visiting and a solid chance to even up the old record.

Personally, I have been enjoying watching the Sabres this year with Dahlin and Eichel they are always entertaining. Like the Coyotes they're still sort of struggling to establish their identity and some credibility.

Still, this game is better than it sounds on paper.

The Sabres are 2-2 and this could be a preview of a future Stanley Cup final, given all the talent spread across both teams. I could lament on what could have been, had the Coyotes had the draft luck of the Sabres, but then I'm sure the Sabres could do the same thing about the Leafs. No point in going there.

Enjoy the game.
