QUICK HITS: JULY 20, 2018

1) On the new edition of the "Real Deal Hockey with Bundy and Bill" podcast on the Flyers Alumni's Talkshoe channel, Chris Therien and I were joined by Flyers general manager Ron Hextall. We covered a wide array of topics on the 40-minute program. Before Ron called in, Bundy and I discussed the tragic passing of Ray Emery and our memories of his time in Philadelphia.

2) Over on the new edition of the FlyerBuzz podcast on Flyers Radio 24/7, Brian Smith and I went in-depth on the Flyers offseason to date and discussed many of the prospects in the farm system as well as looking at this year's Draft class now that it's been a few weeks since the picks were made and the organization held its development camp in Voorhees. 3) On the Flyers official website, I did an article on the summertime outlook for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms roster, with most of the veteran core still intact and numerous new faces (including Carter Hart) slated to play their first pro season. For more click here.

4) The Phantoms announced three signings to AHL contracts for the 2018-19 season: the team has re-signed forward Alex Krushelnyski and defenseman Frank Hora and also added forward Michael Huntebrinker as a depth option who can come up from the ECHL's Reading Royals.
