Kontinental Hockey Leagues Dinamo Minsk, Kunlun Red Star, and Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod have brought in players with NHL experience to boost their rosters with the season just few weeks away.

Minsk has signed the 26-year old player from Finland - Teemu Pulkkinen who spent the previous season in AHL where he recorded 65 points (29G+36A) wearing the Chicago Wolves colors. Pulkkinen had also played for the Detroit Red Wings.

Meanwhile Red Star Kunlun - the only Chinese KHL team has brought in 27-year old Michael Latta who also spent his previous season in the AHL playing in the New Jersey Devils system. In 40 games he managed to score 5 goals and record 14 assists. Latta spent most of his pro career with the Washington Capitals in his best season with them recording 7 points.

Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod has signed Filip Holm who played a game for the Vancouver Canucks this past season also spending most of it in the AHL. As a defenseman, he was noticeable on the ice for Utica Comets helping to boost scoring - 29 points (11G+18A).

Holm most likely has been brought in to the organization to replace US Olympian Jonathon Blum who has mutually terminated his contract with the team due to personal ''issues''. Blum spent this past season between Admiral Vladivostok and HK Sochi teams playing 53 games, scoring one goal and earning 21 assists.
