Just talked to a source who says the pressure is mounting in Ottawa...The Edmonton Oilers have upped the ante yet again I am told....and the Rangers are trying to make this happen now more directly....not wanting to be the place where salary is dumped, but the place where Karlsson runs the defense...

I was also told the Lightning and Steve Yzerman are livid over the current negotiations and are about ready to throw in the towel if this doesn't get wrapped up soon..."as in today" one source put it.

I don't see that happening and yet I hear that Dorian's job is being very measured at this point by Melnyk and how strong of deal he can make...
