Boucher Day

Today is the day that Senators GM Pierre Dorion will sit down with Guy Boucher to go over the season that was, and more importantly, to try and determine if the two are on the same page as to the future direction of the team.

Dorion was dazzled by Boucher's interview the first time around that got him the job but there were definitely some cracks in the bromance this season and the GM didn't put the blame for the disastrous season squarely on Boucher's shoulders but definitely didn't have his back.

So that being said, does the Senators recent history of rapid turnover behind the bench and Eugene Melnyk's likely resistance to pay two head coaches this season including yet another year of paying a guy NOT to coach the team sway Dorion's decision in any way?

Personally, I am of the opinion that Boucher lost the team and his direction to the point that I am not sure he can get it back.

So that begs a couple of questions - what will they do, and what should they do. And the answer isn't always the same when a situation like this arises.

What do you think?

What SHOULD the Senators do with Guy Boucher?
Bring him back - he can get the team back on the rails
Bring him back - there isn't a better option
Fire him
