A few quick hit rumors for your Sunday...
On Montreal....
First off I have been hearing for a week now, and had a long discussion last night regarding, the Montréal Canadiens scouting Radim Vrbata in Vancouver. Were I to make a prediction I would say the Canadiens are the most likely team to pull off a trade between now and New Year's Eve.
On Ryan Johansen and Calgary...
There is a new favorite in this race, and it is the Calgary Flames. The Flames have several defensemen who are very appealing to the Columbus Blue Jackets. I have been preparing the 2016 Trade Rumor Chart for launch over the next week, and for the first time I believe the chances of Johansen staying in Columbus this season are less than 50%.
On Kassian to San Jose...
As has been reported elsewhere, I can confirm that the Sharks have interest in Zack Kassian, who has run out of chances in Montreal.
