Woo Mornin' Buzz: Lou adds more muscle with Boulton
Yesterday, the New Jersey Devils added another former Atlanta Thrasher Eric Boulton to their lineup. Boulton, 34, has put up 27 goals and 46 assists with 1150 penalty minutes in 549 career NHL games with Buffalo and Atlanta.
Like what Marty McSorley was to Wayne Gretzky, expect him to resume that bodyguard role for Ilya Kovalchuk. Like Cam Janssen, Boulton brings a heavyweight brand of toughness to the lineup.
With Clarkson, Janssen, and Boulton possibly in the lineup, looks like the Devils will have that physical presence that is needed against their Atlantic Division opponents.
