You fans are the best. Thank you for your heartfelt comments and expression towards the team. This thread piece is from you and letting what you think be known. Enjoy! My thoughts will be coming tomorrow.

No - no - no . . . a thousand times NO !! Babcock will set back the organization, team, and prospect development 10 years. With so many GOOD options available, why would Jarmo do this to the team ???

This will be a huge failure on Jarmo's part. This was the HC he had to nail, and he screwed the pooch !!

He was desperate - I believe his Toronto contract was done July 1 !! It will be interesting to see the term/salary for Babcock.

C'mon Zak. You have to be surprised on the down side, like most of us. There were so many good directions to go with available coaches but Jarmo re-cycles a coach that couldn't coach the young "core four" in Toronto.
So apparently Jarmo felt Babcock was the best choice of all the available coaches ??

Mistake !! Big Mistake. I question Jarmo and JD and what the future holds for the BlueJackets.

I'm hoping this an April Fools Day bad dream. He could have hired Babcock when he fired Larsen !! Would have saved us all a month of hoping there will be a change with the team.

********Decisions like this makes me wonder who Jarmo will draft at #3 in a few weeks !!!!????

That is stupid

I have no skin in the game except I love the NHL . 10 years Jarmo has had control , he has accomplished nothing. Johnny hockey has to be going nuts. Ownership better reevaluate their leadership this is the worst hire since Mike Keenan !

So. The cock is the new head in cbus. You guys think you got screwed or is this a happy ending?

MABster notes

Wow-- Johnny Gaudreau escapes Sutter, only to end up with...Babcock.

So much for creativity and skill being able to flourish.

I think this will be a great hire. Babcock knows he has to make some changes to the way he coaches. He has been getting paid for a few years now and I guarantee you he has been working this whole time on evaluating players and coaching strategies across the league.

Will be interesting to see what roster moves they make to go along with this.

If this is true, I will be a former Season ticket holder for the CBJ. I will not support a team that hires that D-Bag.

Kevin R let his heart out

 Welllll I guess this will cue the end of any chances Lindholm would want to get a trade to Columbus & extend with them. I just about fell out of my chair when I saw that headline. Ouch. I am so thankful the Flames didnt sign him
Ya you gotta wonder what Johnny boy must be thinking.

Was really hoping it would be a deal along the lines like Lindholm, Vladar, Ruzicka & our 2023 2nd for that #3 so you guys can get your top line centre & reunite Gaudreau & Lindy. Oh well. Not looking good, sounds like Lindholm & others couldnt stand Sutter, not sure how Babcrotch will go over.

Wow, how dare you have an original thought.
Don’t you know Babcock is ______(insert whatever the clowns are saying here)

Alexzanki goes contract

probably same as Torts, 2 millions this is your only way back in contract.

My sincere condolences. At least it wasn't Keenan. I guess.

The Evil Within with the chirp

Pretty smelly cock-wise

jkumpire with this point

Does anyone have some a couple of Arizona jerseys to sell? They have a better future than the CBJ if they hire this man.

Well, since Bally Sports won't be around I will have lots more time in the winter to do something constructive instead of being a cbj fan and trying to find out where their games are being broadcast.

:aah:   :? :urg: :duh: :( :( :( :(

A telltale sign is that Babs 1st request as coach is for Jarmo to trade for "Snitchy Mitchy" if he should come available.

Feed back on Twitter is strong from you in my poll. Vote there as well!

My thoughts will be coming tomorrow.

Player Profile - Luca Del Bel Belluz (LDBB)

Next on the prospect list is froward Luca Del Bel Belluz, the 2022 second round draft pick from the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Del Bel Belluz was selected 44th overall out of the Mississauga Steelheads of the OHL.

LDBB was traded for the first time in his OHL career this season, going from Mississauga to Sarina in a playoff run.

With the run, the Woodbridge native saw the OHL Western Conference finals, coming up short the traditional superpower, London.

In the 19 year old’s junior career, he has produced 169 points in 192 games (71 goals, 98 assists).

2022 was a great draft for Kekalainen and the Blue Jackets, and LDBB should be a middle six forward in a few years for the main roster.
