The Panthers are one win away from punching their ticket to the Stanley Cup Final.

Just let that sink in for a second…

We are witnessing something very special here in Florida Panthers history. This has been an incredible run for a team who most thought didn’t stand a chance in the postseason. There are shades of the 2012 Los Angeles Kings with this group.

As close as they are to getting to that next step, it won’t be easy. They will have a battle on their hands tonight trying to close out the Canes - a group that I don’t see going away with a real fight.

Carolina had a lot of high quality chances in Game 3. While the Cats clamped down defensively, it was Bob who was the reason Florida held on to that 1-0 win.

I thought it was interesting that Eddie Olyczk pointed out a number of times how Brind’Amor continued to play four lines, as opposed to continuously rolling with his top guys. That may have helped the Panthers out a bit - though all four lines seemed to be getting some good looks at Bob, but No.72 managed to stay one step ahead of them.

Speaking of Bob, can we take a minute to appreciate what this guy is doing? He has been dialed in. Like, $10 M per year dialed in…

I just hope he can keep it going.

After exiting Game 3 with what looked like a potential leg/knee injury, it sounds like Maurice is optimistic that Barky will be in tonight.

Keep that defense from Game 3 going and get this thing done tonight…GO PANTHERS!
