The Wild face the NHL's best regular season team the Bruins today at the XCEL Energy Center. As if the Bs and their league leading 51-11-5 with 107 points is not daunting enough, the Wild will be without several key performers today.

Jonas Brodin, Jake Middleton, Marcus Foligno, and Brandon Duhaime will all miss another game today, along with that other guy #97. That has not been enough to stop this Wild team who keeps digging deep to find the will and way to claw out points.

A franchise record 14 game point streak is on the lone for the Wild as they are in their own race for top position I the Central Division and Western Conference.

Dean Evason and his team are going to be ready for the Bruins even with a depleted lineup.

There is also some underlying bad blood with the Bruins that stems from last season when Trent Frederic injur3d Kirill Kaprizov. Hickey players have long memories so don't be surprised if some heated battles ensue today.

It's always Hockey Day in The State of Hockey!
