In the fourth game of a five-game homestand, John Tortorella's Philadelphia Flyers (8-12-5) will host Jared Bednar's defending Stanley Cup champion Colorado Avalanche (13-8-1) at the Wells Fargo Center on Monday evening. Game time is 7:00 p.m. ET.

The Flyers enter this game coming off a 3-2 loss to the New Jersey Devils on Saturday. The Avalanche lost, 5-1, on the road to the Boston Bruins on Saturday. For Colorado, Monday's game is the final match of a three-game eastern road trip.

The Flyers had an optional morning skate on Monday. Neither Cam Atkison (upper-body, missed the entire season to date) nor James van Riemsdyk (Oct. 28 surgery to repair a broken right index finger, 19 games missed to date) are ready yet to play. Both players are officially considered day-to-day at this point. Atkinson has been on the active roster the entire season, while JVR is on Injured Reserve.

Tortorella indicated that there will only be one lineup change for this game compared to the New Jersey game. Max Willman will exit the lineup and Tanner Laczynski will enter. It's unclear if there will be line combination adjustments (other than plugging in Laczynski where Willman started last game) to start the game. Carter Hart will once again be in goal.

The Avs also have an extensive injury list with a host of regulars unavailable. In terms of players who are not on IR or otherwise already ruled out for this game, Artturi Lehkonen is questionable. He sustained an upper-body injury in the Boston game. The Avalanche recalled veteran Charles Hudon from the AHL's Colorado Eagles on Sunday.
