The Hawks are back at it tonight, coming off an impressive win over the New York Rangers. The team was hot on the power play going 3 for 4 with goals from Kane, Domi, and Raddysh. Unfortunately, Mrazek went down with another groin injury; however, it is not believed to be the same injury as before, so recovery time is still to be determined. With that news the Hawks recalled goalie Jaxson Stauber from Rockford.
The Hawks now turn their focus to the New York Islanders, who come into this one with a 15-10 record, which puts them 3rd in the Metro. Last time these two faced off, the Islanders won 3-1 in a very slow and boring game. You also have to wonder if the Hawks are going to make Casey Cizikas answer the bell for taking out Stalock, who has yet to return to the team.
