The Hawks are back at it tonight as they kick off a three game road swing in the New York/New Jersey area. First up is the New York Rangers, after last years impressive run, a lot of people had them high on the list for Cup Contenders. However, they can’t seem to get things going in an absolutely stacked Metropolitan Division. Currently sitting 5th in the division and going 4-4-2 in their last 10 games, what better time for them to turn things around against this brutal Blackhawks team.

Players to Watch
Mika Zibanejad 12 goals 14 assists 26 points
Artemi Panarin 6 goals 20 assits 26 points
Adam Fox 6 goals 20 assits 26 points

Projected Starter
Jaroslav Halak 1-5-1 2.89 GAA .897 SV%

The Hawks come into this one riding an 8 game losing streak and if there is any sign of it ending it tonight its that they are most likely facing the struggling Halak in net. As of post time there hasn’t been any update on lines or starting goalie, but expect Mrazek in the net. Tonight also could be the start of a lot of games played at the Garden for Kane has he has been heavily linked to the Rangers come trade time. The Rangers have the picks to make this happen and I would love to see Kaner and the Breadman back together.

Time to buckle in because we are about to experience some very difficult hockey over the next few weeks.
