There's rumblings that Jesse Puljujärvi could be heading to Columbus soon, I am told, perhaps joining up with former linemate and fellow Finland native Patrik Laine.

There is a strong belief out there that the Oilers are realizing the balance they have lost up front with Evander Kane's injury, and the Oilers missing the playoffs would be completely unacceptable. The Oilers have interest in the Blackhawks' Jonathan Toews, but an easier and cheaper fix could be the Blue Jackets' Gustav Nyquist, who could directly be traded for Puljujärvi.
