The Wild host their Central Division rival and neighbor to the North Winnipeg Jets tonight. Ahead of this matchup the Wild have acquired Ryan Reeves from the Rangers for a 5th round pick.

It definitely gives the Wild some much needed size up front, however Reeves is not going to be a solution for what ails the Wild offense. He has been part of some winning organizations so his experience and off ice presence may be just as valuable as his on ice toughness.

What Reeves does provide is another tough guy to take that responsibility away from Marcus Foligno a bit. Foligno is a valuable player that the Wild need on the ice as much as possible, and adding Reeves sends a message that trying to take liberties with Kirill Kaprizov is off limits, as the opposition will have to deal with one of the league's toughest customers now.

Marc-Andre Fleury is practicing and could return potentially as early as Friday afternoon.

Big Central Division game tonight as the Wild look to build on a strong performance against the Hurricanes on Saturday night. Alex Goligoski played hero in his return to the lineup following the pre-game celebration of his 1000 NHL game.

Goligoski will stay in the lineup and Calen Addison was going to be the one sitting but that may not be the case as the Wild may be dealing with an illness on the blueline, according to The Atheltic's, Michael Russo.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

It's always Hockey Day in The State of Hockey!
