Per Elliote Friedman, the Preds have signed forward Nino Niederreiter to a 2 year deal at $4m AAV.

This is a solid top 6 signing. He won't dominate a game or take it over, but he will most certainly bring that mixture of skill and grit that would work well within the current system. He has yet to reach 30 goals in a season, but he has the capability to do so. He's had a decent showing in Carolina the last few years, but perhaps this Preds team can give him more time to shine and demonstrate his worth.

I remember him suiting up for the Swiss national team in World Juniors years back, and he definitely has the skill to be a top player. Josi will enjoy having a fellow Swiss national on the team I'm sure.
