If we did not know it already, Bill Guerin, firmly etched it in stone when he snapped back at Cam Talbot's agent "I don't have s#*t to do" responding to George Bazos' statememt "Billy has a lot to think about".
Guerin is in charge and he has a plan. Now does his plan include moving Cam Talbot as we know there are several teams in need of a goaltending upgrade. With Marc-Andre Fleury signed for the next two seasons and Talbot's very visible displeasure with his playing time, the timing may be perfect.
We don't know much more about the Kirill Kaprizov situation in Russia, other than what was reported that he was denied entry into the U.S. twice.
Guerin is going to make more moves as free agency approaches later this week. We know with a deep prospect pool the Wild cannot possibly have room for all of them to find their way onto the NHL roster. Teams are jockeying for postion already to tank next season in hopes of landing Connor Bedard, led by the Chicago Blackhawks. Can a quality asset be plucked away at a reduced price much like DeBrincat was?
