Gonna have to blame somebody else for ruining team chemistry now

The Pittsburgh Penguins winning streak has ended at ten. It was an impressive run, but the team could not overcome Dallas’ late surge and the last-minute COVID scratches. The Stars held on for the 3-2 victory.

The Penguins weren’t going to win every game for the rest of the year so the streak was bound to end at some point. The real issue is what now with the Penguins chemistry? With yesterday's loss all their chemistry they had built up is done and over with. Just like that, all gone. For some, this is catastrophic. Not because of the now vacant and all-important team chemistry arbitrarily evaporating. No, it was never about that. It is catastrophic because they won’t be able to blame Evgeni Malkin for it. I don’t make the rules. You can’t blame Geno now as painful as that may be for some.

Who is to blame for the arbitrary chemistry now? Is it Jeff Carter who just returned to the lineup? The rookie Kasper Bjorkqvist? Mark Friedman being the seventh defenseman? Take your pick, but you can’t blame Geno.

As far as losses go this was one of the more enjoyable ones in recent memory. All the low-life's foaming at the mouth to blame their Russian obsession will have to figure something out. The fruit isn’t hanging low today.

If you are upset reading that you are telling on yourself. Back to the drawing board!
