Last night had some nice road dogs hit and we lost on the Caps play after they blew a 4-1 lead to Florida, losing 5-4. The Panthers scored a SHG and 2 PP goals in the final 8 minutes to complete the comeback! The Wings got a big win in Boston and I had stated the Bruins are a different team without Marchand and now they are without their HC Cassidy due to covid protocol. Detroit only had 16 SOG but scored twice, again as I said the Bruins aren't getting the goaltending as they used to with Rask, oh and the Bruins had 42 SOG but only scored once. Dallas got great goaltending from Holtby and the Canes had 3 defensemen go into covid protocol last minute. We only have 6 games tonight, the game analysis is below. I will be back late in the afternoon with starting goalie info and final plays.
**Hart/Shesterkin in goal**
The Flyers are really hurting down the middle, with 4 injuries and not a lot of depth at the center ice position. Philly only has one game all week, so you would think they would be fresh and put all they got into this game. They have lost 6 straight and 8 of their last 10 games. NYR have won 7 of their last 8 games and are red hot but at -185 the juice is a little high as it wouldn't surprise me to see the Flyers pull one off when nobody expects them to win! Small lean to the Flyers +165.
**Kuemper/Campbell in goal**
The Leafs are off a 4 game roadie and have won 14 of their last 16 games! The Avs have won 7 of their last 8 games. But the Leafs get an edge on goaltending and are a very good home team(9-3-1) vs. a very average road team in Colorado(4-4). Strong lean to the Leafs -130.
**Demko/Gustavsson in goal**
The Canucks are playing their 5th game in 8 nights on the road and finally got a win in Boston on Monday night. Both Vancouver and Ottawa are struggling, it doesn't matter if it's on the road or at home, they both can't buy a win but someone has to win tonight. Canucks have lost 9 of their last 11 games, Sens have lost 10 of their last 11 games. Ottawa has been off since Saturday, whereas the Canucks played on Sunday and Monday. Strong lean to Ottawa +105 based on who is more rested and the Sens play better at home. Plus both teams have gone under the total 24 of 39 combined games this season.
**Grubauer/Greiss in goal**
The Wings are off a huge road win in Boston and for a young team like Detroit, you can have emotional letdowns as they got up for Boston. Now expansion Seattle comes to town, a team that won't catch the Wings' attention the same way Boston did last night, plus Seattle sat rested last night in Detroit while the Wings played in Boston. Seattle is playing their best hockey of the season having won 4 of their last 5 games. Three of those wins came against Florida, Carolina, and Washington, all top 5 teams in the league! Seattle is playing their 4th game in 6 nights on the road. There are so many arguments to be made to play Seattle here, but the one that's keeping me from playing this big is the current road trip the Kraken on are on. Lean to Seattle -120.
**Jarry/Koskinen in goal**
The Oilers are very banged up on defense with Ceci/Keith/Nurse all out on defense. The Pens have played great hockey the last 2 weeks and could've easily won in Calgary two nights ago. After tonight, Pitt is off until Saturday. Edmonton has been off since Saturday but I just think right now, that Pittsburgh is playing better and have notoriously played well in Edmonton. Lean to Pitt +110.
Lehner/Stolarz in goal**
Vegas sat rested in Anaheim last night while the Ducks played their cross-town rival in LA. The Knights are finally getting healthy and are very rested having not played since Saturday night. The Ducks have lost 4 of their last 5, that only win was vs the worst team in the league, Ottawa. Strong lean to Vegas -155.

**Another prop to try is empty-net goals, you would be surprised how many are scored each night as coaches tend to pull the goalie earlier than if down 1 or 2 goals.

Teams in back-to-back consecutive road games are now 28-22-1 over/under the total.
Teams rested the night before when their opponent plays the prior night are 31-20.
