Drew Doughty out eight weeks, Sean Walker done for season |

Los Angeles Kings defensemen Drew Doughty and Sean Walker will both miss extended time with injuries, with Doughty out for around eight weeks, while Walker is expected to miss the entire season.
Doughty suffered a knee injury against the Dallas Stars on Friday, which was deemed a right knee contusion. Walker, on the other hand, tore both his ACL and MCL in Monday’s loss to the St. Louis Blues.
The injuries are certainly a pretty massive hit to the team. The Kings have just one win in their first six games of the season and are only in a worse spot after the injuries. We may see a combination of Olli Maatta, Austin Strand and Kale Clague to draw into the lineup (or see others called up) but without two of their more experienced defenders out of the lineup, things don’t look good for the Kings.
