After a 4 game card last night, we have 12 games today with a couple of afternoon games too! Looking back at last night, SJ keeps surprising everyone, winning 3 games in 4 nights on the road. Toronto hadn't played all week, but SJ took it to them. The Sharks were the first team to

do it this year as the previous 4 teams in that spot all lost. Boston dominated Buffalo and finally looked much better as a team. Dallas came out flat in their home opener after a 4 game roadie to start the season. but finished strong winning in OT.

Edmonton has started the season 5-0 and look dynamite to the season. The injuries to Vegas have caught up to them.

We have plenty of systems plays today and I have introduced a few more, see below. I track them all season long. I will be starting one other angle very soon in which teams that return from a 5 game road trip or longer in their first home game, to see how they do. This coming week we have 4 teams that will fit the system so it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Tonight we have one team that actually falls into 3 systems is the LA Kings. St. Louis has their opener, plus the Blues are sitting at home rested while LA played in Dallas last night. To top it all off, LA is playing back to back on the road on consecutive nights so play the under. The Kings lost Drew Doughty to a lower-body injury in the 2nd period and didn't return, which will hurt LA on the back end.

Speaking of home openers, the Seattle Kraken play their first-ever home game against Vancouver. Seattle hasn't played since Tuesday while Vancouver ends their 6 game road trip to start the season.

Two other teams are rested sitting at home while their opponent played last night in Pittsburgh and New Jersey. Toronto lost at home to SJ, while Buffalo lost to Boston. Play on Pitt and NJ.

Anaheim is playing their 4th road game in 6 nights in Minnesota. The Wild are rested since Tuesday night.

We have two games at 1pm EST today in NYR at Ottawa and Calgary at Washington. The Sens have gone under the total in all 4 of their games this year.

Lastly, the East vs. West angle has been very profitable to start the year going 16-8 so far. We have three teams from the West, Calgary at Washington, Colorado at TB and NYI at AZ.

One thing that I would like the readers to do is to post any goalie info that they might see throughout the day in the comment section as sometimes changes occur, which can affect if you place a wager on the game or not. This info can help all of us profit. As well, if there are any prop plays that you think are worth a shot because you follow a specific team or division, please post that in the comment section too.
