Preds Recall Novak, Send Glass to Milwaukee |

Preds have recalled Tommy Novak from Milwaukee and assigned Cody Glass. This is an interesting move as I have liked Glass’ play in the first two games. He’s still very young and this could be a move to get him more exposure and top line minutes to gain confidence and develop his game. I’m glad Novak is getting some NHL time, hopefully he is placed in the lineup tomorrow night against the Kings. I’ve written previously how I was impressed with his pre-season and his ability to see the ice and make plays when needed. I’m glad he’s getting the exposure. Let’s see what he can do on the big stage when given the opportunity. It’s still very early in the season but it seems like this year, especially, may be a revolving door for these young guys between Nashville and Milwaukee to let them both get much needed NHL experience to assess and learn the speed of the game and then also receive top line minutes and develop their leadership abilities with the Admirals.
Time will continue to tell us what a competitive rebuild/competitive transition/insert your preferred adjectives here will really look like.
