Albert Johansson had his first multi point game of the season as Farjestad posted a shutout against Linkoping. The second most exciting defensive prospect of the 2019 draft logged a season high 18:15 TOI in the win. Johansson has 3 assists and an even +/- rating in 3 games so far this season.

You’ll remember that Detroit inked Johansson to his ELC earlier this year before loaning him to Farjestad. A date to keep handy is October 7th when Johansson will face off against Edvinsson, Soderblom and Niederbach as Frolunda will play Farjestad.
I’m doing my best to keep tabs on Johansson as Nick Lidstrom made a point of commenting on the 2019 2nd round pick. I’ll post a weekly update on some of the prospects I’ll be following. The Denver Pioneers will have their first game October 2nd as Shai Buium, Carter Mazur and Antti Tuomisto are all Wings prospects who will be playing together. Exciting times and some exciting young players.
